CSI Diwali 2014: Date and Venue Update

We would like to provide an update on the upcoming CSI Diwali 2014 event. 

As communicated earlier,  we have been looking for a different venue for the CSI Diwali event that is better suited to match the grandeur and enthusiasm associated with Diwali. To hold the event in November, we had to think out of the box as all EVSC schools are booked for their yearly fall play's during the month of November. After considering several options (including schools in Warrick county and Owensboro ), CSI committee has decided to hold the event on 16th November 2014  at the Victory Theater, Downtown, Evansville.   

As you all know, Victory theater ( http://www.victorytheatre.com/ ) is a state of the art facility with excellent sound system, stage setup and can accommodate approximately 1,900 people. This venue will address all issues and limitations of the past venues. Although, there will be some upward adjustment to  overall expenses, we believe that the Tri-State community will  be happy with the venue and the quality of the Diwali event.  Please also note that since 16th Nov is Sunday, we will be starting the event earlier than the years past. We will send you more details about the event very soon.

Since we do have 4 more weeks, Please plan on participating in Diwali program either it can be a skit, dance, singing or any other talent you or your group possess.

On a separate note, the current CSI committee will end its term this year and we are looking for members who would like to get involved with the CSI committee for the next 2 years. Please feel free to reach out to us, if you have any questions.
